Jennifer Dozier lives in Los Angeles, CA
She earned her BFA from VCU School of the Arts in Richmond, VA.
She employs the disciplines of both painting and sculpture using canvas, beeswax
and pigment to create 3 dimensional works on stretched frames. Her work explores themes of tension, grace, cooperation and confrontation.
Movement is expressed in the canvas. Wax gives the pieces their
skin. Variations of color and texture hint at their history.
